2006 monthly Fun Competition rules and schedule.

The Fun Competitions will be held at our regular monthly meetings after the show and tell period and before the business portion of the meeting.

The entry fee is either two dollars or some working robot hardware or software that is of minimal value to the contestant, but is perceived to possibly be of value to another contestant.  All entry fees will be put into the prize bin.

Prizes are awarded by the first place finisher getting first choice, second place finisher getting second choice, and third place finisher getting third choice of an item from the prize bin.

Event rules will be decided upon by all of the competitors at the competition before they actually compete with the emphasis on sportsmanship and common agreement.  If there is an irreconcilable disagreement on the rules, people have to realize that in order to have the competition some decision will need to be made by some benevolent dictator.  That benevolent dictator will be that month’s Fun Competition organizer.
