Old and New Business

1. Election. The annual election was scheduled for the December meeting. The only nominees were the current officers in their current positions:
   
   
• President: Larry Kruzan
• Vice President: Jim Frye
• Treasurer: Peter Campbell
• Secretary: Mike Dvorsky

Since the nominees were running unopposed, a formal election was not required. The current executive board will continue in 2002.

2. Finances. The 2001 sumo competition was not profitable for the club. After paying the fee for Lakeview, the club bank account will drop below $500. To save money, we are considering changing the venue for meetings and contests from Lakeview to local high schools, colleges, etc. We will try to have a membership drive / fundraiser early next year. The officers will discuss possibilities during the next executive board meeting.
   
   
3. Critter Crunch. The audience seemed to enjoy the RC (Critter Crunch) demo. We are considering having a competition in June or July.
